Exchange Experiences🌎

In August of 2024, I got the opportunity to go on my first professional internship in Antalya, Turkey. 

This country and this city were my greatest desire because the University Clinic and their Akdeniz University is the third largest and most important in Turkey. 

I spent a month in the cardiovascular surgery department, with the opportunity to go to the operating rooms every day and follow many open heart surgeries, which was one of the most interesting and best parts of this exchange. In addition to attending surgeries, my working days included examining patients in the outpatient clinic, monitoring and working with patients in intensive care, and assisting doctors with some medical procedures. This was truly the fulfillment of my childhood and high school dreams...

In addition to all of the above, this exchange was a very nice experience that improved my social skills, communication and resourcefulness in many new situations in which I found myself. All of the above really pushed my boundaries.. The best thing about it is meeting many people, making friends and making acquaintances, hopefully for the rest of my life. Seeing how life works outside of your own city and country was very inspiring and useful.

Exploring a new city in another country, in a different language, and living there for a month where no one speaks your language, where no one shares your culture, customs, and habits, was a true challenge for a young person. Yet, looking back now, it was also a magical experience.

In the end, I must say that none of this would have been possible without the support of my beloved BOSANA and all the people who believe in me.
From the very start of my studies, through my first exams, successes, and setbacks, the understanding, unwavering support, and love that BOSANA provides motivates every student to strive, to dream, and to confidently pursue their ambitions and desires!
