From Children's Home to Independence: The Story of Saud Haljković

In the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, around 900 children are currently growing up without parental care. Each year, about fifty of them leave the public care system and face the challenges of independent life.

One of them is Saud Haljković, our Bosana studnet, who spent 18 years in the Children's Home in Mostar. Today, he is 22 years old, a third-year student at the Faculty of Education – Department of Sports and Health, and already works as a fitness trainer.

Although he still has the right to stay in the home, he chose to begin his independent life earlier. He learned how to cook, manage money, and built the confidence that helps him move forward.
