Reflections from a Piano Summer Master Class

This summer, I had the wonderful opportunity to actively participate in an amazing piano masterclass, learning from an outstanding professor! Professor Boris Kraljević is a renowned pianist and professor from Montenegro with an international career.

He has taught at various institutions, including prestigious music academies, and regularly leads masterclasses that attract eager piano students. It was an incredible honor to be part of the International Piano Summer Master Class with Professor Kraljević, held at the School for Primary Music Education in Herceg Novi from August 16th to August 20th.

Over the course of five days, I had individual lessons with Professor Kraljević, which provided personalized feedback and valuable insights into musical interpretation, phrasing, and technique. I enjoyed bonding with other students who shared the same passion for music, creating a sense of belonging and community.

The final concert was a memorable highlight of the masterclass, offering valuable performance experience and showcasing the collective progress of all participants.

Reflecting on my experience, I feel incredibly grateful for this opportunity. Regular involvement in masterclasses, concerts, workshops, etc., leads to valuable performance opportunities, collaborations, and artistic growth.

With that said, I want to emphasize the importance of professional development for overall career success—something Bosana always generously supports.

This masterclass not only enhanced my piano skills but also deepened my passion for music and left me with lasting friendships and inspiration for my musical journey ahead. I look forward to applying what I’ve learned as I continue to grow as a pianist!
